BERGEN INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES ISO 9001 : 2000 CERTIFICATION

Richard Long, CFO of Bergen International LLC, reports the company has achieved ISO 9001 : 2000 certification by Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. (PJR), 26555 Evergreen, Suite 1340, Southfield, Michigan 48076. The official certificate number from PJR is C2007-02567.

Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. has assessed the Quality Management System of Bergen International LLC -- corporate office, 151 West Passaic Street, Rochelle Park, NJ 07662, US and 1390 Gateway Drive Suite 3, Elgin, IL 60123 US facility -- in respect to the following scope of supply:
Design, Create and Distribute Chemical Foaming Agents for Injection Molding, Direct Gas, Structural Foam, Film & Sheet Extrusion.

According to Dennis Keane, president of the company, the certified quality system is proof of organizational maturity and the company-wide teamwork at Bergen International LLC. Mr. Keane says: “It is hoped that the certification will confirm to both existing and future clients our company commitment, which has always been structured around customer satisfaction and service through high quality products.”

Bergen International’s Foamazol™ chemical foaming agents are available for use in most plastic applications, such as structural foam molding, profile and sheet extrusion, blown and extruded films, injection molding, wood-plastics composite, wire and cable, blow molded containers, polypropylene ribbon extrusion and others. Foamazol™ CFAs are available in endothermic, exothermic and endo/exo blends. Forms include pelletized masterbatches, micro pellet compounds, powders and liquids. Products are available for use with a range of resins such as PP, PE, copolymers, PS, PPO, and PPE. Custom formulations are also available.
