Intended for use in Polystyrene extrusion applications where very fine and uniform cells are required. Especially recommended for nucleation of direct gassed polystyrene foams.

Decomposition Range  Beginning at 145° C (293° F)
Processing Recommendations Maximum gas yields are achieved when processing temperatures of 185-230° C (365-446° F) are reached

 

Usage Levels

  
Injection Molding 0.5-2.0% 
Extrusion  0.2-1.5% for nucleation
0.5-2.5% for chemical foaming
