Application

 

Intended for applications in polystyrene or polystyrene-type materials. It can be used in injection molding and extrusion processes to produce very fine celled foams.
Characteristics  Endothermic Decomposition

Decomposition Range  Begins around 130° C (266° F)
Processing Recommendations Maximum gas yields are achieved when processing temperatures of 175-200° C (347-392° F) are reached

 

Usage Levels

  
Injection Molding For cell size control 0.25-1.5%
As a chemical foaming agent 0.5-2.5%
Extrusion  For chemical foaming 0.25-1.5%
